Welcome to Carat Canvas, a space where jewellery ideas begin with a pencil sketch. I am a diamond jewellery designer, and through this blog I will share my design concepts, sketches, and the creative thinking behind different jewellery pieces.

Every jewellery creation starts as a simple drawing. Before diamonds and gemstones are set into gold, the design first takes shape on paper where proportions, stone placement, and overall balance are carefully planned.

My First Design – Indo-Western Floral Necklace Concept

This first design is an Indo-Western necklace concept that blends modern elegance with traditional inspiration. The necklace features flowing rows of pear-shaped diamonds that lead to a floral centerpiece. The flower motif is highlighted with soft pink stones and a green center, giving the design a fresh yet classic look.

A long tassel drop adds movement and contemporary character to the piece, while the matching earrings maintain the same floral theme with delicate tassel elements.

This design reflects the style I enjoy creating—modern jewellery forms that still carry the beauty of traditional motifs.
